Keep in mind that you only have seconds to entice the customer as they walk by and first impressions are king when it comes to your displays. A point of sale display could have anything ranging from simple graphics to interactive monitors. Whatever you choose to do, the end goal is to see that customer take the item with them.

Placement in the store is important. You want it placed in the best spot to get the most attention by the customer. What are you selling? Do you want simple graphics or maybe a touch screen display? Is this on an endcap, in-line, a pod in the middle of a walkway, or at the checkout? Is this a new product launch, or a clearance item? How long do you plan to keep this display in place?

A great example of how Pratt worked with a customer to develop a unique POP Display was a project that partnered us with Lowe’s Canada. They have an entire aisle of light bulbs, which can be overwhelming if you aren’t sure what you are looking for. We created an interactive display using an iPad, 32” monitor, and accompanying graphics to help make the process of finding the proper bulb super simple and engaging. The display even integrated a recycling station for old bulbs. This project was featured in Visual Merchandising and Store Design Magazine
